Lincoln Park Kitchen Remodel

Located in the heart of one of Chicago’s most vibrant neighborhoods, this kitchen renovation was all about combining timeless style with everyday functionality. Malkoc Builders worked closely with the homeowner to reimagine a closed-off, outdated space and turn it into a bright, open-concept kitchen ideal for modern living.>

The project began with a full gut demolition, removing old cabinetry, flooring, and outdated appliances. Walls were partially removed to improve the flow between the kitchen and dining areas, opening up the space and allowing more natural light to fill the room.

Custom shaker-style cabinetry in a crisp white finish was installed, paired with soft-close drawers and built-in organizers to maximize storage. The countertops were upgraded to durable quartz with subtle veining, creating a clean and elegant surface for daily use and entertaining. A full-height tile backsplash added both texture and personality, while under-cabinet lighting improved both function and mood.

High-end stainless steel appliances were integrated seamlessly into the new layout, along with a large kitchen island featuring seating, extra storage, and pendant lighting overhead. New hardwood flooring was installed throughout the kitchen and adjacent spaces, unifying the entire first floor with warmth and character.
